Istanbul Gelisim University is a foundation university established by law in 2011 and located in Avcılar, Istanbul. It carries out academic activities through seven faculties, a School of Foreign Languages, two vocational schools, and an Institute of Graduate Studies, offering associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs in Turkish and English.
The institution traces its roots to the establishment of Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School in 2008, while Istanbul Gelisim University was legally established under Law No. 6114 dated February 17, 2011.
